Washington DC -July 1- With summer in full swing, thousands of tourists are visiting Washington DC to be part of this year’s Fourth of July holiday celebration.

Part of the yearly experience is the Smithsonians Folklife Festival that features cultural exhibits from around the world, and this year, the State of Texas.

A big attraction is a huge Texas tent where visitors can enjoy authentic Texas BBQ, served up just right by Nick Fontana and his crew from Capital Q, a Washington DC “Texas-style” BBQ restaurant.

Washington DC -June 26- In response to the latest undercover video released June 25th by the Humane Society of the United States, the National Milk Producers Federation again condemns – as we did when HSUS released it first two videos in January and May – the treatment of the animals featured in the video clips.

Washington DC -April 30- Recommendations issued yesterday from a commission composed primarily of members opposed to modern livestock production if implemented likely would raise the cost of producing food animals and increase meat prices in the face of a global food crisis, according to the National Pork Producers Council.
