Washington DC - May 26 - The board of directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) today authorized a $500 million direct-loan facility to provide the funds to assist Textron Inc. in financing the exports of two of its companies, Cessna Aircraft Company and Bell Helicopter Textron.

Washington DC - May 6 - The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) stated that in the first three months of 2009, deliveries of general aviation airplanes totaled 462 units, a 41.1 percent drop from the same period last year, with industry billings falling 18.2 percent to $4.34 billion.
