Washington DC -April 21- The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has determined a corn line developed by Syngenta Biotechnology, Inc, which has been genetically engineered for insect resistance, is no longer considered a regulated article under its regulations governing the introduction of certain genetically engineered organisms.

Washington DC - March 31 - Corn stocks in all positions on March 1, 2010 totaled 7.69 billion bushels, up 11 percent from March 1, 2009. All wheat totaled 1.35 billion bushels, up 30 percent. Soybeans stored totaled 1.27 billion bushels, down 2 percent from March 1, 2009.
